Phase 2 phonics games help children learn their first letter sounds and use them to read simple words. Through interactive activities, children practise recognising letters and sounds, blending sounds together, and reading short words made from the sounds they know.
Phase 2 is usually taught in Reception.
These games support early reading both at school and at home, and can be used on their own for extra practice or alongside any school phonics programme.
